The articles ‘a / an’ mean One in
number. We use ‘a / an’ when we
mention the thing for the first time.
B)
The article ‘an’ is used before a singular noun which begins with a
vowel sound like /i :
e u: aI eI / and so on.

The article ‘a’ is used before a singular
