We use the Simple Past to show a Fact or a
Habit in the past. We always use F3 of
the Verb. This tense is usually used
with the past time expressions.
The time expressions:
just now
this morning
yesterday / yesterday morning / afternoon / evening (yesterday)
last night / Wednesday / week / month / year (last)
a few seconds / minutes /hours / days ago (ago)
When you
see such time expressions as ‘yesterday /last / ago’, you use F3
