We use the Simple Present Tense to show:  (now / at present)

               --------a fact

               -------- a habit

               -------- a general truth 

Verb Patterns

A.  Verb-to-be  -------- am / is / are

B.  Ordinary Verb  -------- F1

     [He / She / It]   F1 + s / es

     [I / We / You / You / They]   F1

(For the verbs which ends in ‘s / z / x / ch / sh / o’, we just suffix the words with ‘es’ and the others just suffix ‘s’ when the Subject is ‘He / She / It’. )

(The root verb (V) is the original form of verb without adding any letter to the word, i.e, F1 in Forms of the Verb. )

(If the letter before ‘y’ is ‘a / e / i / o / u’, just add ‘s’ to the words like ‘enjoy / play / stay’ when the Subject is ‘He / She / It’.)
